Every donation helps Junior Auxiliary of Byram–Terry continue providing scholarships and support to youth and families in Byram, Clinton, Raymond, and Terry.

We are reaching out to our valued community partners to request support for our C.A.R.E.S. Bag Service Project to assist Hinds County McKinney-Vento students. C.A.R.E.S. stands for Compassionate, Attentive, Resourceful, Empowering, and Supportive. These students face significant challenges, including housing instability and economic hardship. Our goal is to prepare at least 50 bags by providing essential items that will bring comfort, dignity, and joy. With your generous support, we can help ensure these students experience the warmth and care of their community despite their circumstances.

We kindly ask for your support in one or more of the following ways:

1. Monetary Donations – Financial contributions will allow us to purchase gift cards and essential items tailored to the specific needs of each student.

2. Personal Hygiene Items – Donations of child- and teen-appropriate hygiene products such as deodorant, soap, body wash, lotion, wipes, and feminine hygiene products.

3. Mental Health Items – Stress balls and informational pamphlets highlighting available mental health resources for children and teens.

4. School Supplies – Pens, pencils, and small notebooks.

By supporting the C.A.R.E.S. Bag Service Project, you are making a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of children in the Byram-Terry community who need it most. Your generosity not only provides essential items but also sends a powerful message that their community truly cares about their well-being.

The Junior Auxiliary of Byram-Terry is now accepting applications for the 2026 JABT Scholarship. This $900 award is open to graduating seniors who reside in Byram, Terry, or Raymond and plan to pursue a child-related field of study. Applicants must submit a completed application, two recommendation forms, a high school transcript with GPA, ACT or SAT scores, and an autobiography outlining experiences and reasons for choosing their intended major. All materials should be emailed to jabtscholarships@gmail.com by March 6, 2026. We look forward to supporting a student who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children.
