We are reaching out to our valued community partners to request support for our C.A.R.E.S. Bag Service Project to assist Hinds County McKinney-Vento students. C.A.R.E.S. stands for Compassionate, Attentive, Resourceful, Empowering, and Supportive. These students face significant challenges, including housing instability and economic hardship. Our goal is to prepare at least 50 bags by providing essential items that will bring comfort, dignity, and joy. With your generous support, we can help ensure these students experience the warmth and care of their community despite their circumstances.
We kindly ask for your support in one or more of the following ways:
Monetary Donations – Financial contributions will allow us to purchase gift cards and essential items tailored to the specific needs of each student.
Personal Hygiene Items – Donations of child- and teen-appropriate hygiene products such as deodorant, soap, body wash, lotion, wipes, and feminine hygiene products.
Mental Health Items – Stress balls and informational pamphlets highlighting available mental health resources for children and teens.
School Supplies – Pens, pencils, and small notebooks.
