A Trunk or Treat Event
Every October, the Junior Auxiliary of Byram-Terry partners with the City of Byram to host Read for a Treat, a community-wide Trunk or Treat event that combines fun, family, and literacy.
This special event brings families together to enjoy games, activities, and treats while promoting a love of reading by providing every child with a free book to take home and enjoy with their family.
Read for a Treat also provides an opportunity for local businesses and vendors to support this important initiative while showcasing their products, services, and community involvement.
We are proud to celebrate our 4th year of hosting Read for a Treat and look forward to seeing the smiles of children and families as they receive books, treats, and enjoy an evening of community fellowship.
